Murdawg Custom is a full service custom, performance and restoration shop operating in the Allegheny Region of Western Pennsylvania.
Our shop has grown rapidly since we opened our doors here in the fall of 2005. We now have two buildings with three times more capacity. We have been servicing the local community of Blairsville and Indiana County with honest service with general maintenance and auto body work.

Our shop has undergone several transformations to get where it is now. We moved to our current location in the Spring of 2006, at first occupying only one of the buildings on the quarter acre site. We soon outgrew the single building and struck an agreement with the land owner to rent the entire property, which now includes a 120’ x 60’ building which now houses our general maintenance operations, parts store, offices, lift, and provides space for the rough refinishing stages of our restoration projects.
The Body Shop, pictured above in the rear of the photo, is home to our paint booth and supporting equipment, as well as provides enough room for storage of up to three vehicles to be in preparation for paint, metal work and body repair.
Murdawg Custom sources skilled workers from the local pool of talent drafted from the local Wyotech Academy, one of our countries premiere automotive schools. Our crew of talented individuals is selected based on competence in many areas of automotive technology, and not everyone makes the cut. To become employed at Murdawg Custom we require prospects to work for us for several days in order prove yourself to us in the areas we specialize in. It’s like trying out for a sports team, and not everyone makes the cut.
